The Q-MAC HF-90 frequency hopping HF radio was manufactured by Q-MAC Electronics between 2000 and 2010. It offered protection from interception and jamming on HF radio links used by armies and aid agencies. In this video the designer gives an overview of the hopping system and gives a demonstration of an HF hopping link. Barrett Communications Pty Ltd purchased Q-MAC in 2009 and manufactures a hopping radio which supersedes the HF-90. Video for historic and educational purposes only.
